After forming a friendship with an occult fanatic at school named Ken Takakura, whom she nicknames "Okarun", leads to her awakening her psychic powers and the latter losing his kintama from being cursed by the Turbo Granny, Momo complies to help him find what he has lost and overcome any paranormal obstacles along the way.
ENG VA: AJ Beckles
He is an occult fanatic, mainly a believer in aliens and UFOS, who was living an introverted school life until he met Momo Ayase from school. After a bet with her leads to them forming a friendship and having his kintama missing from being cursed by the Turbo Granny, Okarun makes it his mission to find what he has lost with help from Momo and other allies as they overcome any paranormal obstacles along the way.
ENG VA: Kari Wahlgren
She is a well-known spirit medium and the grandmother of Momo Ayase. While performing her duties, Seiko provides support to Momo and her friends as they become involved with spirits, aliens, and other paranormal activities.
ENG VA: Barbara Goodson
Turbo Granny (ターボババア Tābo Babā?) is a well-known yokai that was previously within a tunnel located at Shono City until her confrontation with Momo Ayase and Okarun. After having her powers sealed within Okarun, along with her consciousness being trapped inside a stuffed doll, Turbo Granny makes a deal with Momo to help Okarun find his kintama in exchange for having her powers back.
ENG VA: Lisa Reimold
She is a former popular student at Kami High who later became one of Momo Ayase and Okarun's main allies whenever the two are faced with the paranormal.
ENG VA: Aleks Le
He is Momo Ayase's childhood friend and first crush whom he lost touch with after moving away. Years later, he enrolls into Kami High and reunites with her after he came to her grandmother Seiko Ayase for help to rid his house of the Evil Eye haunting him, which leads to him becoming the yokai's vessel. After the Evil Eye is kept under control by Okarun, Jiji becomes one of the few to lend his help to Momo and Okarun as they try to find the latter's kintama.
